Another Shower

I have to say this shower was much different than any I've had before! My co-workers got together and threw a shower at Margaritas in Portand. We all had a great time! All of our spouses joined us too. It really warmed my heart that everyone took time out of their busy schedules to celebrate our pending arrival! Great company, wonderful gifts, good food, and delicious margaritas! We just continue to be blessed!

A Baby Shower

On Saturday, February 21st our family and friends gave a shower at our church in Portland. It was awesome! The Berglunds all made the trip from the Boston area, all the Vails were there, my two aunts, and many dear friends. It was lots of fun! Amanda and Kelsey kept me company in front of everyone while Anna, Julie (my nieces) and Elizabeth (one of my favorite little persons) ensured I ALWAYS had a gift to open.

The cake had a picture of Natalie on it and no one wanted to cut that portion of the cake! It was really cute - tasty too! Lot's of good food, great gifts, and lasting memories. We feel so blessed by it all.

Worth the wait

Finally! After all this time we have a glimpse of the child we've been waiting for! Luo Yi Ya was born on 4/23/08 in the Hunan Province of China. What a beautiful baby!

On January 22nd, 2009 we received our referral with the pictures you see here. At the time of the photos she was seven months old. We have named her Natalie Grace Luo Berglund. Natalie after her paternal grandmother, Grace for God's awesome grace, and Luo after her Chinese given name. We will travel to China this month to be united with her. We are so excited and can't wait!
